Suler averaged eye-popping totals of 13.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 7.5 blocks per game in a 1-1 week for the Bears, but it was her stat-stuffing outburst against the Garnet that rewrote the record books. Suler recorded the first triple-double in Ursinus women’s basketball history with 13 points, 14 rebounds, and a CC-record 11 blocks; she even added four assists and three steals to her line.
In addition to setting a new conference record, Suler broke the school record for blocks in a season that had stood since 1997. She ranks third in Division III with 95 blocks this season and has a chance to become only the second player in CC history to reach 100 in a single campaign.
Suler followed her unbelievable effort with 13 points, five rebounds, four blocks, and three steals in Saturday’s overtime loss to Dickinson.
Freshman Toni Suler recorded the Bears' first-ever triple-double (13 pts, 14 reb, 11 blk), while breaking the Centennial Conference record for blocks in a game and establishing a new team record for blocks in a season during the win over Swarthmore on 2/7/17!
