Spring Semester Pool
Monday through Friday: 12-1pm lap swim
A valid Ursinus College ID is required to use the pool. Upon entry, patrons must present ID to the lifeguard on duty and sign in.Attendance Policy:
Pool is reserved for Ursinus College Faculty, Staff & Students. Spouses may also use the facility. Children (under 18) of Ursinus faculty, staff and students may use the pool only if accompanied in the water and actively engaged with their parent(s).

American Red Cross Lifeguard Courses
Lifeguard Review and Recertification:
February 28, 2015 9:00am-5:00pm and March 1, 2015 9:00am-5:00pm
Participants must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Certification will cover all four elements and is valid through March 2017.
Courses are open to the public and capped at 10 students. Students should bring pocket mask, bathing suit, towels to each class. Lunch breaks and snack breaks will be provided.
Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED Certification Course:
Friday, March 27th and April 3rd from 5:00-9:30pm
Saturday, March 28th and April 4th from 9:00am-5:30pm
Students must be age 15 by the last day of the course. They must be able to complete a continuous 300-yard swim (including front crawl with rhythmic breathing and breaststroke). Additionally, they must be able to retrieve a 10-pound brick in eight feet of water and return it 20 yards to starting point with both hands on brick. Finally, they will be asked to tread water for two minutes without using their hands. This swim test will be performed on Friday, March 27th at 5:00pm and must be passed to progress in the course.
A digital copy of the lifeguarding manual and a CPR mask will be provided to the student after completion of the swim test.

This sanctioned meet is open to all currently USMS registered athletes age 18 and older. A swimmer’s age for this meet will be determined by his/her age on December 13th, 2015. Need to register with USMS to participate? Go to: http://www.usms.org/reg/ to sign up!
Entry Deadline: Online Entry Found Here! Online meet entry is mandatory. Online entry is open until 11:59 PM EST on December 10th, 2015.
Times will qualify for Top Ten!
