Now in his 14th season on the Bears’ staff, Gavlick has
over 20 years of coaching experience, with stints at Pennsbury and
Neshaminy High School in Bucks County.
He has served in various roles on the staff, including kickers and
punters coach last season, offensive line coach when Ursinus
advanced to the NCAA Players and the ECAC Playoffs in 1999 and
2000, respectively. He will be coach the tight ends this
season.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University and a
master’s degree in Spanish from Kutztown University.
He lives in Langhorne with his wife Kathy and son Bernie, a 2001
graduate of Ursinus and the voice of the Ursinus College Football
team.
