Desiderio named Special Teams Player of the Week in the Centennial Conference

LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College sophomore wide receiver/kick returner Al Desiderio (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic) was named as the Centennial Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Sunday afternoon by the conference office.

Desiderio returned a kickoff 77 yards for a touchdown in the Bears’ 48-13 win over McDaniel on Saturday afternoon. Desiderio also finished with five catches for 154 yards and a touchdown. On Saturday, he finished with 252 yards of total offense.

Ursinus (4-3, 4-1 Centennial) will host Moravian on Saturday.
