CHANDLER, Ariz. – Two members of the Ursinus College field hockey team received NFHCA All-South Region honors on Thursday morning.
Freshman back Megan Keenan (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) was selected to the first-team, while senior forward Catherine Bitterly (Rumson, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven) was selected to the second-team.
Both Keenan and Bitterly finished tied for the team lead in goals with ten, assists with seven and points with 27. Both also had two game-winning goals during the year, and each started and played 19 games. Keenan was named as the Rookie of the Year in the Centennial, while Bitterly was named second-team All-Centennial.
Ursinus finished the season with a record of 11-8.
