Catholic scores late to beat Field Hockey, 2-1

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Homestanding Catholic (11-4) scored two goals in the final five minutes to hand Ursinus (11-5) a 2-1 loss on Tuesday night.

After a scoreless first half, Abby Wood got the Bears on the board in the 51st minute for a 1-0 lead. Catholic would score next Hayley Wright knocked in a pass from Kim Hermann at 64:50, followed by the game-winner at 67:39 on Hermann goal.

In the cage, sophomore Danielle DeSpirito made nine saves.
