Cousart named Centennial Conference Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus senior guard Remy Cousart (Philadelphia, Pa./Holy Ghost) was named as the Centennial Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday by the conference office.

Cousart averaged 16.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Bears. He shot 55 percent from the floor (11-of-20) and 50 percent from beyond the arc (4-of-8) on the week. Cousart had 18 points, seven rebounds and eight assists in the win over Lebanon Valley.

For the season, Cousart is averaging 19.3 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per contest. He is also averaging 5.5 assists per game.

Ursinus (3-1, 0-0 Centennial) opens up conference play on Wednesday night with a matchup against nationally-ranked F&M.
