COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. –Muhlenberg freshman guard Malique Killing scored a game-high 27 points as the Mules (17-8, 11-7 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (9-16, 8-10 Centennial) 77-71 on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore guard Jesse Krasna (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) led Ursinus with 14 points and guard Pat Vasturia (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace) added 13.
Vasturia knocked down a three pointer at the end of the first period to put the Bears up by five at the break. From that point on Muhlenberg never looked back.
Krasna had eight rebounds, while freshman forward Jermaine Kamara (Cork, Ireland) grabbed seven, all off the defensive glass for Ursinus.
