LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College men's basketball junior forward Jon Ward (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) was named to the All-Centennial first-team on Tuesday afternoon by the conference office.

Ward, who was a second-team selection last season, was one of two forwards selected to the team.

The junior led the team in scoring at 16.5 points per game and was 60.5 percent (130-for-215) from the field, which was second-best overall in the conference.

Ward was also 153-of-216 from the foul line, the most made and attempted foul shots of any player in the conference.

Ward was also an Academic All-District first-team selection and was an All-Centennial All-Academic selection this year. He scored his 1,000th career point in a win over Haverford on December 7, 2011.

Ward is the 18th player in school history to be named first-team All-Centennial, second highest in the conference.
