Men's Basketball honored for Special Olympics work

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ursinus College was one of three Division III institutions selected and honored by the NCAA to be nominated for the NCAA Division III Special Olympics Spotlight Poll.

The NCAA Division III Special Olympics Spotlight Poll is a new story-telling initiative located on ncaa.org/D3SpecialOlympics.  It features three new stories per month – each highlighting a Division III and Special Olympics joint activity or event.

Ursinus joined the University of St. Catherine and Wheaton College in the poll.

Fans can vote for Ursinus all the way up to December 25. The winning school receives $500 for use for its next Special Olympics event. Other perks for winning include being recognized in the Division III Monthly Newsletter and on the Division III Special Olympics website.
