Men's Basketball drops Land of Magic opener, 85-53

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Ursinus junior point guard Jesse Krasna (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) had a team-high 14 points for the Bears, but, Ursinus fell to Cortland State (8-1) by an 85-53 score Saturday afternoon at the Land of Magic Classic.

Senior guard Matt Donahue (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) scored nine points, with freshman guard Malik Draper (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Area) scoring eight.

For Cortland, Jesse Winter had 28 points as the Red Dragons opened the game up on a 15-0 run.

Junior guard Ryan Adams (White Plains, N.Y./The Hun School) had six rebounds for the Bears, which was a team-high.

Ursinus (5-6) will take on Hamilton Sunday at the Classic, hosted by Embry Riddle University.
