Men's Golf finishes season seventh at Centennials

ELVERSON, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's golf team finished up the 2011 season with a seventh-place finish at the 2011 Centennial Conference Championships hosted by the Bears at Stonewall North Course.

The Bears finished the two-day event with a score of 1023.

For Ursinus, freshman Chris McCann (Sandy Hook, Conn./Newtown) was tied for 17th with a two-day total of 242, senior Austin Anthony (West Chester, Pa./The Shipley School) finished with a score of 258. Senior Brian Lutzow (Abington, Pa./Archbishop Wood) had a 261, followed by sophomore Tim Duke (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) with a 264. Freshman Paul Luchon (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford) had a 277.

McDaniel won the team title with a  score of 932, while Gettysburg's Peter Ruymann had a two-day best of 224.
