Wes Hollis is in his first year serving as both the head men’s and women’s golf coach at Ursinus College.
A 1990 graduate of Bloomsburg University, Hollis was a member of the university’s golf team during his time there. Following graduation, Hollis was an apprentice for the PGA of America from 1990 to 1994. During that time, he passed the playing ability test in 1991. He was elected to Class A membership on December 1, 1994.
Hollis’ golf pedigree includes extensive teaching, administration and player development. He has participated and played in over 200 professional golf competitions, including sectional PGA events, national, regional and local tournaments.
He has mentored four players to their PGA membership during their apprentice period. He has 16 plus years as a teaching professional and seven years of experience as a head golf professional.
He also managed the Skippack Golf Course to record setting rounds and revenue numbers.
Ted McKenzie

Philadelphia Section PGA Professional Ted McKenzie has guided
the Ursinus golf team to winning seasons in each of his 10 seasons
as head coach. He led the Bears to a share of the Centennial
Conference title in 1997.
A former Philadelphia PGA Champion and Section Player of the Year,
McKenzie is a co-founder of Stonewall Golf Club, a private golf
club in Elverson, Pa. He also serves as the club's head
professional.
McKenzie served as head professional at Waynesborough Country Club
in Paoli, Pa., from 1966-1989. At Waynesborough, he helped develop
and teach a staff that produced six head golf professionals. He
also developed one of the best junior programs in the area and
established a successful junior golf camp for the city of
Philadelphia. McKenzie served as an assistant pro at Aronomink from
1962 to 1966. He helped the club organize and host the 1962 PGA
Championship.
As a player, the Duke University graduate won the Philadelphia
Open in 1971 and finished as the tournament's runner-up three
times. He was named the Philadelphia Section Player of the Year in
1975 and the Golf Professional of the Year in 1984. McKenzie won
the Philadelphia Section Championship in 1979 and finished as the
runner-up in 1975.
