Three named All-Centennial Men's Lacrosse

LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the Ursinus College men's lacrosse team were named to the All-Centennial team on Tuesday afternoon by the conference office. The team was voted upon by the head coaches in the conference, who were not allowed to vote for their own teams.

Sophomore Jeff Ocampo (Palm Coast, Fla./Mantanzas) was named first-team as a midfielder, while senior Jake West (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern) was named second-team specialist and senior attack Eric Farris (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) was named honorable mention as an attack.

Ocampo was second on the team in points with 31 and ranked second in goals with 23. In 13 games, he fired off a team-best 95 shots. He was also tied for third on the team in assists with eight.

West appeared in 13 games this season, starting 11. He forced a team-best 15 turnovers and picked up 28 ground balls, which was third-best on the squad.

Farris was the team leader in goals with 30 and points with 36. He also picked up 18 groundballs in just 13 games.

Ursinus finished the season 8-5 overall.
