Ocampo named to USILA All-America squad

PERRY, N.Y. – Ursinus College junior attack Jeff Ocampo (Palm Coast, Fla./Mantanzas) was named as a 2011 USILA Men's Lacrosse All-America by the organization Tuesday afternoon. Ocampo was named to the honorable mention squad. This marks the second straight year Ocampo was named to the squad.

Ocampo was honored by the head coaches in the Centennial as the Player of the Year, while also grabbing first-team honors for the second time in his career.

Ocampo led the Bears in goals with 36, which ranked tops in the Centennial in goals per game at 2.57. He also led Ursinus in shots (126) and points (46). He scored a season-high five goals in a 12-3 win over Wesley back on March 2. He scored three or more goals in six games this season, including a three-game stretch of four goal games during the middle of the season.

Ursinus finished the season with a mark of 9-6 and was 4-4 in the Centennial Conference.
