COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Bears (2-6, 1-1 CC) defeated the McDaniel Green Terror (2-4-1, 0-2 CC) 1-0 in overtime Saturday night during a Centennial Conference Men's Soccer match.

Senior defender Mike Cohen (Linwood, N.J./ Mainland Regional) put away the only goal (94:59) on a through-ball pass from senior midfielder Andrew Machalick (Mountain Top, Pa./ Crestwood) during an advantage play.  Ursinus outshot McDaniel 21 to 14, while McDaniel had a 10-4 edge in corners. It was a physical match, as there were 24 fouls and three yellow cards.

Senior goalkeeper Mike Alfieri (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) had four saves in the win.

Ursinus plays at Franklin & Marshall Tuesday evening.
