Zerbe named Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College senior men’s tennis player Jason Zerbe (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) was named as the Centennial Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon by the conference office.

Zerbe went 6-0 in singles and doubles play last week, helping the Bears to a perfect 3-0 week. He was a perfect 3-0 in singles play at fifth flight against Immaculata, PSU-Abington and Alvernia, while going 2-0 at number three doubles with teammate senior Josh Hollaman (Stratford, Conn./Bunnell).

He also played at number one doubles with freshman Sean Kelley (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) against Immaculata, winning that match 8-0.

Ursinus (3-4, 0-1 Centennial) will take on Dickinson and Lancaster Bible on Saturday.
