Men's Tennis blanks PSU-Berks, 9-0

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team made it a clean sweep on Saturday afternoon defeating PSU-Berks by a 9-0 score to improve to 8-1 on the season.

In doubles play, the team of Evan Stutchin and Matt Hope defeated Andy Miller and Steve Roughton by a score of 8-1 at number one flight, followed by a win from Sean Kelley and David Rowe over Matt Holdorf and Javier Melendez at number two flight, 8-2.

At number three flight, Nick Rall and Chris Wyshock defeated Brad Kale and Creston Smoker, 8-1.

In singles play, Stutchin defeated Miller at number one flight, 6-0, 6-1, followed by a 6-0, 6-0 win for Hope over Roughton at number two flight.

At number three flight, Wyshock defeated Holdorf, 6-1, 6-3, followed by a 6-3, 6-2 win by Rowe over Melendez at number four flight.

At number five flight, Marsh defeated Kale, 7-5, 6-0, with Kevin Dean defeating Smoker at number six flight, 6-0, 6-0.
