Arsenault named Centennial Conference Tennis Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus freshman men's tennis player Tyler Arsenault (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) was named as the Centennial Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.

Arsenault compiled an undefeated week for the Bears, going 6-0 in three big wins.  On Wednesday, he was a double winner at third singles and third doubles as Ursinus knocked off Washington for the first time since 1983 in a 5-4 thriller.  On Thursday, Arsenault won two more times, at second doubles and third singles in an 8-1 win over Alvernia.  And finally, on Saturday, he was again 2-0 as he won at third singles and third doubles in a key 8-1 conference victory at Gettysburg.  Arsenault did not drop a set on the week, helping to keep the Bears in the hunt for a first-ever Centennial Conference playoff berth.
