Women third, men sixth at Delaware Valley

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Ursinus College cross country team opened up the 2009 season at the Delaware Valley Invitational Saturday afternoon.

For the women, the top finisher was sophomore Lauren Alexandra (Pottstown, Pa./Villa Marie Academy) with a time of 24:00.76, she placed second overall. Senior Dante Dimidio (Yardley, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) was tops for the men at 27:59.28.
