Men's Cross Country third at Philadelphia Metro Meet

PHILADELPHIA – The Ursinus College cross country teams had a strong outing at the Philadelphia Metro Meet at Belmont Plateau on Saturday.

The men were third with 109 points.

Sophomore Sam Stortz (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin) was the top finisher for Ursinus, as he finished in eighth with a time of 29:16.46. Freshman Jatin Narang (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) was 14th at 30:25.28, followed by senior Jeremy Garavel (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) in 18th place at 30:42.31.

Junior Bogdan Lischenko (Philadelphia, Pa./J.R. Masterson) was 35th at 31:46.13, followed by junior Ben Mosher (Hershey, Pa./Lower Dauphin) in 38th place at 31:56.40. Sophomore Amos Almy (Charleston, Maine/Foxcroft) was 41st at 32:04.31.
