Lauren Davis-Macedonia named Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – For the second time this season, and the second time in the last three weeks, Ursinus softball senior pitcher Lauren Davis-Macedonia (Mullica Hill, N.J./Clearview Regional) was named as the Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Week by the conference office.

This past week, Davis-Macedonia went 1-0 with a save in two games against Cabrini. In the first game against the Cavaliers, she struck out ten and walked two. In the second game, she pitched the last two innings for the save, striking out three and not allowing a hit or walk.

For the season, she is 7-1 with a 0.28 ERA with 74 strikeouts. She has allowed just two earned runs and teams are batting .123 against her.

Ursinus (10-2, 0-0 Centennial) will host Immaculata on Wednesday.
