CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Washington got ten points from Kelly Mitchell as the Shorewomen (5-1, 3-1 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (4-3, 2-2 Centennial) 71-40 on Tuesday night in women's basketball play.
The Shorewomen, who led wire-to-wire, grabbed 69 rebounds on the night with four players collecting nine rebounds each.
Ursinus was led by junior guard Diamond Lewis (East Windsor, N.J./Stuart Country Day) with 13 points, while freshman guard Alyssa Polimeni (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) scoring 11.
Freshman forward Jessica Porada (Morristown, N.J./Morris Catholic) had eight rebounds for Ursinus, with Lewis collecting seven.
Ursinus will host Haverford on Thursday.
