Women's Swimming wraps up dual meet schedule with win over Bryn Mawr

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's swimming team closed out its dual meet season with a 102.5 to 89.5 win over Bryn Mawr Saturday afternoon.

The Bears got six individual first place finishes and won the opening 200 yard medley relay.

Freshman Kyleigh Hamilton (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) won the 1650 free with a time of 18:45.05, followed by a first place finish from junior Molly Serfass (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) who tied for the top spot in the 200 free at 2:03.42.

Junior Malena Lair Ferrari (Bethesda, Md./The German School) won the 400 IM at 4:49.30, followed by freshman Corinne Capodanno (Claymont, Del./Padua Academy) in the 100 fly at 1:01.15.

Sophomore Chelsea Kozior (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) won the 100 free at 56.13 and sophomore Anne Ludwig (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional) won the 100 back at 1:05.13.

The team of Ludwig, Lair Ferrari, Serfass and senior Kelsey Yoo (Whitehall, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) won the 200 medley relay at 1:59.89.

Second place finishes were earned by four swimmers with junior Bryn O'Neill (Lower Gwynedd, Pa./Germantown Academy) taking second in the 400 IM at 4:59.04. freshman Briana Mullan (Pilesgrove, N.J./Woodstown) was second in the 50 free at 26.66, followed by sophomore Amanda Lucock (Barrington, R.I./Barrington) (56.90, 100 free) and junior Kimberly Bullock (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) (5:42.95, 500 free).

Yoo was third in the 50 free at 26.84, with sophomore Rebecca Schroll (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) in third at 1:03.81 in the 100 fly and junior Kaitlin Kirker (Rockaway Point, N.Y./Polytech) in the 500 free at 5:51.48
