Goodenough; Sooksatan set for NCAAs

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Two members of the Ursinus College women's track and field team will represent the Bears at the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Track and Field Championships later this week at UW-LaCrosse.

Junior Victoria Goodenough (Oxford, England/McDonogh School) will compete in the 100 meter hurdles, while senior Celina Sooksatan (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) will compete in the high jump.

Goodenough is seeded 12th in the event with a time of 14.42. She won the event at the 2013 Centennial Conference Championships.

Sooksatan just made the cut with a mark of 1.68. She, like Goodenough, won her event at the 2013 Centennial Conference Championships.

Goodenough starts her run in the championships in the preliminaries at 6:05 p.m., while Sooksatan goes off at 3:15 p.m.

Should Goodenough advance to the finals, she would run at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
