XC men, women ranked eighth in CC poll
LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference has released its
final pre-season coaches' poll for the Fall as the cross country
poll came out on Monday.
On the men's side, Ursinus was ranked eighth with Franklin &
Marshall, who each received 12 points. The women were ranked eighth
with 22 points, ahead of F&M (18 points) and Bryn Mawr.
Dickinson was the favorite in the men's poll with 64 points,
followed by Haverford (57), Johns Hopkins (48), Gettysburg (45),
Muhlenberg (36), Swarthmore (26) and McDaniel (24).
For the women, Johns Hopkins was first at 81 points, with Dickinson
second at 71. Haverford was third (61), with Swarthmore (60),
Gettysburg (51), Muhlenberg (37) and McDaniel (34).
Ursinus opens the season at the Delaware Valley Invitational on
Saturday.
