Women's Cross Country ninth at Centennials

ELKRIDGE, Md. – The Ursinus College cross country teams competed at the 2010 Centennial Conference Championships Saturday morning hosted by Johns Hopkins University.

The women were ninth with a mark of 235.

Senior Deb Yannessa (Haddonfield, N.J./Paul IV) was in 37th place, the top finisher for the Bears, with a time of 24:00, followed by freshman Sarah Huang (Waterford, Conn./Waterford) in 38th place at 24:03.

Junior Stephanie Donatone (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) was the next Ursinus runner to cross the line at 24:52 (58th place), followed by sophomore Jordan Kellogg (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) in 82nd place at 26:08. Junior Michelle Tetla (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) finished with a time of 26:34 (88th place), followed by finishes from sophomore Gina Brienza (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) at 26:57 (91st place) and junior Meghan McDermott (Yonkers, N.Y./Hackley School) with a time of 27:14 (93rd place).
